 Pat Gillen - ‘Diversity’ and Sean Kelly - ‘De Profundis’

 Exhibitions by two artists will kick off the 2022 season at Solas Gallery, Ballinamore on Friday 25th February. The exhibition will open at 2pm and will be available to view Monday to Saturday 10am – 6pm. There will be no opening event on Friday evening.

 Pat Gillen confesses to creating art to satisfy his inner curiosity and much of his work is a celebration of his native Sligo.

“My art explores the effects of light, space, seasons, time, etc. on nature and the interaction of human as we develop and survive within nature”

 Sean Kelly’s paintings are generally abstract in nature, and he welcomes the observer to immerse themselves in his work.

“I want my works to create images free of elements that distract. My desire is to build compositions which turn into meditative spaces” says Sean Kelly.

 The exhibition will run until 26th March.

 Solas Art Gallery is located above the Four Seasons Garden Centre on Ballinamore Main St. N41 D2X3
