Paula Richards Hynes.
“I Thought the Land Remembered Me”
Paula’s paintings are a beautiful celebration of life and spirit. She translates her father's stories into a colourful visual language that builds connections through the Carrigallen landscape and personal history. Paula generously opens her heart and communicates her journey through grief and loss, to offer us all hope and healing. Through her vibrant use of colour, she forges a deep connection between the landscape and memory.
Peter McSweeney - ‘The Poets Way’
Peter’s seascapes are rendered hyper realistically, with thick impasto marks that will have you imagining that you can feel the sea breeze. Peter’s adoration of the Irish natural landscape and his sense of wonder at being oceanside is so sublimely captured in these large scale paintings of the south west of Ireland. Stand close to his paintings and his mark making will have you believing you could reach out and touch the rocks.
These two exhibitions will open at 7:30 pm on Friday the 26th of April.
GALLERY OPENING HOURS : WEDNESDAY TO FRIDAY : 1PM TO 5PM. SATURDAY : 10AM TO 3PM
