A lovely opening night at Solas summer group show was had on Friday 6th July. Councillor Sinead Guckian opened the show with a heart-warming, personable & humorous speech. The show which continues till August 25th consists of a broad variety of works in all mediums and varying sizes from Artists across the county and Nationwide. Solas gallery is open Monday to Saturday from 10am till 6pm. Drop in & browse all four spaces anytime at your leisure for a unique perspective on local Irish culture and landscape.

"It was an honour to open Solas Art Gallery's Summer Exhibition tonight.

The Solas Gallery, since its foundation in 2007, has played an important role in supporting, promoting and developing our Arts and our Artists in Leitrim.

It is a credit to its founders and members.

The group show, has over 50 works, expressive work of energy and passion, work that may provoke you, work that responds to beauty and work that will intrigue you with skill and that's just for starters!!

DEFINITELY some very interesting works to engage with.
