Solas Art Gallery opens a new triple show of emerging Artists this month on Friday 24th September at 7.30pm
Three Emerging Artists, whose combined work is an eclectic and thought-provoking visual treat for both the eye and indeed the mind. Explorative and intriguing all three shows are bound to engage the viewer.
Anita Dougan 'Encircled'
Instinctual and spontaneous, my work is often an emotional or intellectual expression of a moment in time. circles regularly unintentionally appear which I feel could be a metaphor for life as nature is cyclical and the circle and spiral are the basis for all natural things.
Artist’s Statement
Keith McGrath 'Inside my Mind'
Based in Sligo town, Keith studied Graphic Design, & Animation and is equally fascinated and inspired by both the human mind and the Irish landscape. His work is an explorative mixture of both figurative works and what he describes as 'An abstracted visual representation of thoughts and feelings of the human mind'

Maria Mollohan 'Etched - a New Reality'
Using information on Quantum reality, vortexes, time and spiritual teachings and a variety of print mediums. Marie’s work for this show during lockdown of Covid 19 is a visual interpretation of the realities of life.
